What is a Muppet?
The biggest project I have worked on was an internet video I created defining what a Muppet truly is and then applying it to other works by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
This video features my writing and editing as the main showcase since it was what I focused on while in university. I wanted to focus intently on the research side of things so I didn’t just have an inconclusive definition for what a Muppet technically is. I do highly recommend giving it a watch as it is the best piece of internet content I have made so far.
Josh Cohen & Dan Abraham
In late 2022. through a mutual contact, Josh and Dan contacted me about putting some kind of promotional together for Josh’s upcoming Baroque Trumpet album “Altissima: Works for High Baroque Trumpet” since the guy who usually edits for them was out sick. It was a lot of fun working with mainly Dan on this project, and I think it turned out pretty well.
Later in 2023, Dan reached out to me again asking for a rush video editing job. Since I graduated university already, I no longer had access to Adobe’s Premiere Pro, so I had to learn Davinci Resolve from the ground up. It got me a lot more into color correction than I had been in the past. However, Dan needed the video as soon as possible, and I finished the project up in about 2 days.

Below are two videos that I worked on back in 2020. Each were done on the fly, but I think they turned out well. The UKY Trumpet Ensemble video was how I learned to use Adobe’s Premiere Pro since Movie Studio Platinum 14 wasn’t going to cut it anymore.
